Travelling Times from Melbourne to Mt Buller

I’ve noticed that people are coming to the Nutcracker website because they want to know how long it takes to get from certain points inVictoria to Mt Buller.

In my post on Driving to Mt Buller I didn’t lay out time frames to take into consideration. Below are some time lines based on the the three highways I mentioned in the post mentioned above.

Please note that this based on easy flowing traffic with no stops. These times may vary depending on time of day, traffic and stops that you make.

1. Hume Highway

• Melbourne to Seymour – approx 80 minutes
• Seymor to Yea – approx 30 minutes
• Yea to Mansfield – 1 Hour
• Mansfield to Mirimbah -approx 20-30 mins

Total Time Approx – 3 hours and 20 mins

2. Melba Highway

• Melbourne to Lilydale – Approx 50 mins to 1 Hour
• Lilydale to Yarra Glen – Approx 15 mins
• Yarra Glen to Yea – Approx 40 mins
• Yea to Mansfield – 1 Hour
• Mansfield to Mirimbah – approx 20-30 mins

Total Time Approx – 3 Hours and 25 mins

3. Maroondah Highway

• Melbourne to Lilydale – Approx 50 mins to 1 Hour
• Lilydale to Healsville – Approx 25 mins
• Healsville to Narbethong – Approx 30 mins
• Narbethong to Alexandra – Approx 30 mins
• Alexandra to Goulburn Valley Highway Interchange – Approx 15 mins
• Goulburn Valley Highway Interchange to Mansfield – Approx 45 mins
• Mansfield to Mirimbah. – approx 20-30 mins

Total Time Approx – 3 Hours and 50 minutes
