Mt Buller open this weekend

April Snow!

Winter is a month away but Victoria has already welcomed it with open arms!

The last week has seen 35 cms of snow fall on Mt Buller with temperatures barely going above 3 degrees.  This means the snow fall has stuck around!

Mt Buller has taken the opportunity of opening up the resort for the weekend before Ski Season begins. Being the closet of the resorts to Melbourne, it is a very smart move to open up and get us snow deprived Melbournites up to the mountains and dust off our skis and snowboards. In return for our visit, Mt Buller have provided some great value for both days.

The “Holden Express” chairlift will be open for both days, with lift passes costing $20. There will be no entry fee for the resort, and the roads are open and clear. Ski Equipment can be hired at Ski School and Arlberg.

I can see people will be heading up there in droves, I know I’d love to be heading up there. So get there early and take advantage of some cheap skiing.

Unfortunately Nutcracker will not be available to the public for accommodation, but Nutcracker Members can contact the booking officer if they wish to go up for the night.

BRING ON WINTER!!!!!!
