Double Black Ice Snow Sled

For some reason I’m reminded of ” The Living Daylights” when James Bond and his Lady are sliding down a ski slope on a cello case!

I honestly can’t think of a better way to go down a slope head first than with a friend by my side to share in the fun.

Brisbane based water sports equipment maker, Surfster, have come up with a cool sled that is compact, easy to carry around and weights alot less than the toboggans we see on the slopes.

The “Double Black Ice” snow sled is inflatable, carries 1-2 persons, with an inflated size of  Length : 1.22m and Width: 1.45m.

You steer by moving your body, so it is quite easy to aim someone up ahead of you and bowl them right over. I would say it might be also handy for avoiding trees.

Unfortunately I have not been able to locate anyone in Australia that stocks the sled. However, Cheeta Trading Company are selling the Double Black Ice for US$79.95 and they do ship to Australia.
