The resorts of North Tahoe have had a 10 day snow storm with majority of resorts reporting that at least 213cm/7ft of snow has fallen in the past 10 days, with the average snow fall for the month of January reaching 457cm/15ft.
It’s fair to say that the number of Avalanches have increased with such great snow falls, the most recent avalanche alert at Deer Valley, Utah
Sigh……457 cms of snow sounds so nice.
