Nutcracker Ski Club

I’ll be the first to admit that I have no idea what it takes to snowboard. I’m always baffled as to why snowboarders are always falling over or just sitting in groups on the snow doing nothing. I just thought they were lazy and arrogant for being in the way and having to ski around them all the time.  

It’s incredibly ignorant of me to think these things and I should probably give snowboarding a go for a day to see what it’s like. I’m sure I would get the absolute shock of my life.

I would definitely have a better understanding and more respect for the skills required.

I read a great article on the New West Snowblog that was about that exact topic. Just reading it gave me a different aspect of what snowboarders get up to and it certainly explained alot of things to me.

For any of you who have not snowboarded and think the same way I do, then this is definitely worth a read.
